This lace tank is perfect for wearing over a summer dress - it's cool and airy and, because it's knit with sock yarn, it's easy to care for too! The tank is knit in two pieces from bottom to top. A few rows of reverse Stockinette stitch are used for the hem, and the body is worked in an all-over lace pattern. When the front and back are finished, the sides and shoulders are seamed together, and stitches are picked up along the armholes and neckline and then bound off to create a neatly finished edge.

This is an intermediate-level pattern, requiring the knitter to maintain a lace pattern while shaping the armhole and neckline edges.
